On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Festival of Five Continents, which takes place every year in June in the city of Martigny, Switzerland , launches a unique Cinema project: "Cinema -Action".
Children & youth from around the world, confronted with the burning social and environmental issues of their future on the Planet, will be invited to make short films with the help of professional filmmakers.
The films will touch the 17 SDG goal on the UN : No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-being, Gender Equality, Quality Education, Clean Water and Sanitation, Clean Energy and Affordable Costs, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Reduced Inequality, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Sustainable Consumption and Production, Climate Change Measures, Aquatic Life, Land Life, Peace, Justice and Institutions efficacies, Partnerships for Achieving Goals:
This event will give children around the world an opportunity to become ambassadors of positive ideas, giving them hope that it is possible to change the environment in which they live.
