Five Continents Festival - Martgny, Switzerland
The "Festival of Five Continents" has been held for 25 years in the city of Martigny, center of culture and art. It attracts more than 25,000 spectators each year. The festival is an essential musical, artistic, cultural and social event that invites dialogue and "living together". The screening of the Cinéma Activisme short films - is expected to open the 26th edition of the Festival in June 2020.
The project was born from a creative collaboration between Mads Olesen and Sylvain Biegeleisen, started in 2012. Mads, director of the Festival of 5 Continents and head of Culture in Martigny, invited Sylvain, multidisciplinary artist, to become curator of the exhibition "Vestiges" which invited the general public to discover and understand the dangers and hopes of the future of humanity : http://www.manoir-martigny.ch/vestiges.html
